Mexico Miss World pageant head Castellanos killed:
The director of the Miss World pageant in Mexico, playwright Ruben Castellanos, has been killed within the town of Culiacan in north-eastern Sinaloa state.
Mr Castellanos was kidnapped along side 2 others from a bar too soon Sunday, simply hours once he topped the winner of the Miss Sinaloa contest.
The two others were later freed however Mr Castellanos' body was found in a very purloined automotive riddled with bullet holes.
The motive behind the killing remains unclear.
Witnesses aforesaid Mr Castellanos initial attended a celebration with the Miss Sinaloa contestants before moving on to the bar from that he was kidnapped.
Abductions and murders aren't uncommon within the state of Sinaloa, the birthplace of Mexico's notorious drug baron, Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman.
Sinaloa's murder rate has gone up since Guzman was recaptured in Jan.
Analysts say the increase is all the way down to rival gangs making an attempt to seize management of the region from Guzman's pool.
